The College believes in providing nursing education based and built on scientific principles, sound educational theory and clinically sound practice in order to prepare clinically excellent, professionally qualified nurses who will work efficiently in all health care settings to meet the health needs of the society. We believe in spreading our wings further and reach the new skies by way of expanding infrastructure and introducing more professional and career oriented courses.

HFCON believes to upgrade the Diploma (GNM) nurses to assume responsibilities as professional, competent nurses and midwives at basic level in providing promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services. It will also enable them to make independent decisions in nursing situations, protect the rights of clients and facilitate individuals and groups in pursuit of health, function in the hospital, community nursing services and conduct research studies in the areas of nursing practice.

This programme is designed for experienced graduate nurses to develop higher competencies in professional nursing. The programme aims at developing leadership abilities in these areas.
