The Holy Family School of Nursing was started in 1956 and continues to date. Since its
inception this School of Nursing has been training committed and dedicated nurses to
serve the suffering humanity in our country and other parts of the world.
As the years went by and the Holy Family Hospital expanded its services the need was
acutely felt to begin a College of Nursing so that the nursing staff could be better equipped
professionally to render their service to humanity. Thus the Holy Family College of
Nursing came into being and was inaugurated on August 12, 2011 by Most Rev. Vincent
M. Concessao, the then Archbishop of Delhi. Prof. Dinesh Singh, the Vice Chancellor of
the University of Delhi, was the guest of honour. It was a memorable day and one of
immense thanksgiving to God for his blessings.
We are grateful to God who has enabled Holy Family Hospital to maintain the highest
standards of nursing care and enhance it year after year. The hospital is much sought after
on account of its legacy of high quality nursing care based on the Gospel values of Our
Lord Jesus Christ.
I convey my thanks and best wishes to the Director, Principal and Teaching Faculty of
Holy Family College of Nursing who are selflessly involved in forming compassionate
nurses imbued with human values. May the blessings of God be with you in abundance
always.
